When I install my webcam, my wireless internet connection fails?

I bought an ADVENT webcam a while ago. When I loaded the driver etc, my internet connection failed. I uninstalled it & restored the computer to the an earlier time, and hey presto, internet worked again! I've done this a few times, so it's definitely the webcam - what could it be?
