How to make curls STAY in straight hair?

My hair is really naturally straight and i want to curl and have the curls last alll day. Normally theyll fall REALLY soon i use hairspray (TONS) and it doesnt stay. How can i get curls to stay in my straight hair? plleeaasee help?
