Diablo 2 and Starship Troopers Vista Help!?

hello there, thank you for reading my question. my question is: how do i get diablo 2 and starship troopers to work on my vista computer? i can't find any patches that work! can you please give me a link to a vista patch for both of the games? preferably starship troopers. Also another thing that i found interesting was the making of "no cd patches" or "cracks" if you could supply me with any information of software i would need it would be highly appreciated. i would prefer not having to download anything more than a few hacking engines, as i am a seasoned hacker. thanks again.
